Makes a lot of sense. There aren’t many other options for new Swedish cars anymore, and throwing in $500 to sweeten the deal is a great way to take care of customers abandoned by Saab.

More importantly, if I trade in my 16yo BMW I get a $3,000 “Conquest” discount, which is more than my car is actually worth.

So free tires/brakes/oil/belts and everything else, including labor, for life? That’s a great deal.

Not completely free. You have to pay for the first replacement of each, but any subsequent replacements are free.

Back in the day, Volvos and Saabs were cross shopped a lot. Now a days, a lot of Saab owners are buying Volvos, so it really does make sense.
